Visual Computing Research at Aarhus University

Visual Computing Aarhus (VCA) is a research group in the Human-Centered Computing Section at the Department of Computer Science, Aarhus University. Led by Associate Professor Stefanie Zollmann, our work lies at the intersection of computer graphics, computer vision, human-computer interaction (HCI), and visualization.

We investigate how visual computing can connect real and virtual environments and support human perception, interaction, and understanding. Our research includes eXtended Reality (XR), Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality (VR), situated visualization, immersive rendering, view synthesis, and methods for creating spatial and immersive content.
